Kimiko Nishimoto, an 89 Year Old Japanese Grandma has discovered photography and fell in love ever since. She can’t stop taking hilarious portraits and completely has won the internet.

Discovering Her Passion

She just got famous recently though, but she has been snapping and editing her random and interesting photos for the last 17 years; she didn’t get into photography until she was about 72 years old. Her son was a photography teacher teaching beginner’s course and she decided to enroll. She’s very passionate and truly talented; her photos are unique, humorous and easily not to fall in love especially since we are in the era of the internet.

Her portfolio, Let’s play “Asobokane” (遊ぼかね) was featured at the front and center of Tokyo’s Epson epsite imaging gallery. It was one of her amazing achievements in the world of photography; and it just shows us that it is never too late to do anything.
